DESCRIPTION:The Canadian Section of the Pierre Fauchard Academy held its first convention at the Fogo Island Inn\, August 23 – 26\, 2025.  Participants received world class continuing education\, networking opportunities\, and shared cultural experiences.\n\n    \n        \n            \n                \n                 To welcome visitors to Newfoundland\, a lighthearted initiation ceremony involves being “screeched in “The ceremony involved a shot of screech\, a strong dark rum\, an oath\, and kissing the cod\, a frozen codfish.  \n                \n                 Welcome Reception with Inn Keeper Amanda Decker Penton and Founder            Zita Cobbs  \n                \n                \n                Farewell dinner: Crab supper in the Shed
